who am i?

I am a Pennsylvania native and as such I am a huge Philadelphia sports fan (Flyers, Eagles, Phillies... in that order). I spent a lot of time in Charleston, South Carolina and consider that my home. While there, I mastered the art of crabbing and also earned degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the College of Charleston.

After teaching Astronomy at the College of Charleston, I earned my M.S. in Physics at the University of California at Santa Cruz. Next, I was a research scientist at the NASA Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy in Texas for a few years. Currently, I am working towards my Ph.D. in Astrophysics at the University of Utah.
